MuscleAnswers.com (“MuscleAnswers,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) respects your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and safeguard personal information when you visit our website, subscribe to communications, submit forms, browse programs, or interact with our shop display and client-side cart features.
We may collect information that you voluntarily submit, including: name; email address; message content from contact forms; subscription preferences; unsubscribe requests; coaching intake details if you enroll in a program; and order-related notes when you complete a client-side shop checkout (processed locally in your browser until you receive follow-up communication).
When you use our website, standard server and analytics tools may record browser type, device category, referring pages, general geographic region derived from IP address, pages viewed, and timestamps. We use this data in aggregate to improve site performance and content relevance.
We may use cookies, local storage, and similar technologies to remember preferences, maintain client-side cart contents, and understand usage patterns. You can control cookies through browser settings; disabling them may limit cart persistence and certain features.
We use personal information to: respond to inquiries and support requests; deliver newsletters and program updates you requested; provide coaching services under contract; process shop interest follow-ups; improve website security and usability; analyze aggregated traffic trends; comply with legal obligations; and enforce our Terms & Services.
We do not use health-related information for automated decision-making that produces legal or similarly significant effects without human review where such review is required by law.
Depending on your location, our processing may rely on: your consent (for example, marketing emails or optional cookies); performance of a contract (coaching or digital product delivery); legitimate interests (site security, analytics, service improvement balanced against your rights); and legal compliance (tax, record-keeping, or responding to lawful requests).
We do not sell your personal information. We may share data with:
Aggregated or de-identified information that cannot reasonably identify you may be used for research, marketing insights, or public reports.
Our service providers may process data in countries other than your own. Where transfers occur, we implement appropriate safeguards such as standard contractual clauses or equivalent mechanisms required by applicable privacy laws.
We retain personal information only as long as necessary for the purposes described in this Policy, including to satisfy legal, accounting, or reporting requirements. Contact form records may be kept for several years to document support history. Marketing lists are updated upon unsubscribe. Coaching records may be retained for the duration of membership plus a reasonable period for disputes and compliance.
We employ administrative, technical, and organizational measures designed to protect personal information, including encryption in transit where supported, access controls, and staff training. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure; please use strong passwords and protect your devices.
Depending on applicable law, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, restrict, or object to certain processing of your personal information, and to data portability. You may withdraw consent for marketing at any time via email links or our Unsubscribe page without affecting the lawfulness of prior processing.
To exercise privacy rights, email hello@muscleanswers.com with sufficient detail to verify your identity. We will respond within timelines required by law. You may lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority in your region if you believe processing violates applicable regulations.
The Services are not directed to children under sixteen (16). We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child provided data to us, contact hello@muscleanswers.com and we will take steps to delete it.
Our site may link to social networks, supplement brands, or partner content. Those third parties have independent privacy policies. Interactions on external platforms are governed by their terms. Embedded fonts or icon libraries may receive technical data such as IP address when your browser loads resources.
Shop cart data is stored in your browser's local storage and is not automatically transmitted to MuscleAnswers until you initiate contact or checkout confirmation flows that you choose to complete. Clearing browser data removes cart contents. Representatives may reference items you describe in follow-up email correspondence.
When you subscribe, we may send training tips, promotions, and program news. Each marketing email includes an unsubscribe mechanism. Transactional emails about active services may continue even after marketing opt-out. See Subscribe and Unsubscribe pages for preferences.
We may update this Privacy Policy to reflect operational, legal, or regulatory changes. The “Last updated” date at the top will change when revisions are posted. Material changes may be highlighted on the website or communicated by email where appropriate. Continued use after updates signifies acknowledgment unless objection is required by law.
If you choose to share injury history, dietary restrictions, body measurements, or progress photos with a coach, we treat that information as confidential coaching data. Access is limited to personnel who need it to deliver your program. Do not send emergency medical information through general contact forms; seek immediate professional care when urgent symptoms arise.
We encourage you to share only what is necessary for safe programming. You may request deletion of optional health notes after your coaching relationship ends, subject to retention limits for legal and safety documentation.
We may use privacy-conscious analytics to measure page load times, broken links, and navigation paths. IP addresses may be truncated or anonymized where tools support it. Analytics help us prioritize accessibility improvements, mobile layout fixes, and content topics that members value most.
Browser “Do Not Track” signals are not uniformly standardized. We review industry guidance and regional regulations to align our practices with transparency, minimization, and purpose limitation principles regardless of where you train with us.
For privacy questions or requests, contact hello@muscleanswers.com. We welcome dialogue about how we handle data and how we can improve transparency for our fitness community.
